Benelux Tour 1: Amsterdam

At the beginning of this year's M&M bike tour (= girls and Max) through Holland and Flanders, we had a travel and sightseeing day in the Dutch capital Amsterdam. Due to the exhausting overnight journey, we took it easy on our sightseeing tour. On our program were:

- the streets of Amsterdam with the canals
- the shipyard
- the red light district
- tasting of local food (pancakes, beers)
- a coffee shop
- various parks (one of them hosted an LGBTQ festival)
- and actually the Anne Frank House, but we were too late to get tickets - they have to be booked online at least one week in advance.

We cycled to all these places by bike (Amsterdam is obviously the capital of bicycles) and at the end of the day we already had 34km on the odometer. Our group, which hadn't seen each other in this composition for several months, was able to get back into the groove again, so we wanted to start the actual bike tour the next day.
