28.02. - 02.03. St. Lucia

Hello friends. Now we continue with our compressed summary of our stay in St Lucia. Since it shouldn't be boring either, here's just a brief overview of our activities. On the 1st day we went on the Hippo-Croc boat trip. There were many hippos and also 2 crocodiles to see. Yesterday we were at the Hluhluwe-Infolozi National Park for 9 hours, starting at 5 a.m. It should be noted that it is the oldest park in South Africa, of course with the Big Five. In the evening at 8 p.m. we went on a night safari until 11 p.m. We saw huge herds of gnus and zebras, unfortunately no photos of that. Among many other animals, shortly before the end of the trip, a 1.5m long python was lying on the road. Today we spent another 9 hours in the Wetlands. A varied landscape with large savannas, lakes with hippos and crocodiles and also the second largest dune in the world. Here we were also in the Indian Ocean, the boys also went snorkeling. Now we let the evening, again quite exhausted, end.
