In the forests of England

Well, that's maybe a bit exaggerated :D But nearby there is a beautiful forest area that is wonderful for walking. You could probably walk endlessly there... the path is lined with a stream, some old mills and bridges, passing by small ponds, so it all feels kind of mystical. A very beautiful piece of nature!

A little hike

Originally, the goal of our excursion was actually a pub on a hilltop, where you can eat well and cheaply. Unfortunately, after several kilometers of walking, when we arrived there, we found out that the pub was closed... So we walked back empty-handed. But at least the hike was nice! And along the way, we even found a 10 pound note. I think that makes up for it ;)

Since I didn't have any hiking equipment or even remotely good shoes so far, we bought some hiking shoes there. I still have them today ;)

What do you do in the evenings in England?

Right, you visit a pub. But there wasn't really much going on there, I think we were even the only customers. So we didn't stay there for long.
