Last day on the Camino...

Yesterday evening and this morning I decided to walk the 35km to Monte de Gozo and then tomorrow, on my birthday, to walk only 5km to Santiago at dawn... this way I will have more of the day and above all I won't see all the tourist pilgrims on the way...

This morning we set off just after 6 in the dark, in general the weather today was very pleasant for walking, but I wouldn't mind some sun tomorrow...

The number of kilometers decreased rapidly today... somehow it's not a nice feeling... after 3 weeks and so many kilometers, the journey ends tomorrow... but it's also a nice feeling, tomorrow I will reach Santiago for the second time, after 2015... and this time on my 37th birthday. It can't get any better than this.

These tourist pilgrims can be annoying and unfortunately they often spoil the mood... today I had another huge group right in front of me...

Today's good deed, I helped a little beetle off the pilgrim highway, saving it from an inattentive pilgrim foot.

In the evening I walked a few meters to the Pilgrim Monument from where you can see Santiago... in 2015 I somehow passed by it, but not this time luckily.
