Day 287: Visit and ride with Sabine and Astrid

Today my mother and her friend Astrid came to our farm. Together with Ingveldur and Stani we sat on the terrace in the sun and drank coffee. Then I showed them both the farm.

Since the weather was good, we decided to go for a ride. Neither of them could ride, so they got two of the calmer horses. After a short get-to-know-you round in the paddock, we rode for an hour a little outside the farm on some small paths. The two of them did really well considering they could hardly or not at all ride.

Ingveldur had invited them both to dinner and there was lamb.

After dinner, the three of us went up to Dimon and enjoyed the view.
