Last night we stood together with the two from Minden. Unfortunately, ants crawled up our legs. They even landed in Burki's pants. Late in the evening, 2 more vehicles joined us on the site. All in German hands. Last night, I woke up from a lightning strike on my face. Wow, a proper thunderstorm. Oh, how I love knowing I'm safe in the bus and listening to the weather in my cozy bed. Our neighbors with a roof tent fled, but came back in the morning. After breakfast, we explored the old fort with the two from Minden, who are really nice people as well. Armed with flashlights, we entered the dark rooms and heard some squeaking. I must say, there was a lot of garbage lying around here. We thought it was rats, but no, it was bats. Somehow, it was a bit creepy in the old building. It dates back to 1896 and apparently served the defense of Kotor.
Afterwards, a long ride along the coast towards Croatia. Not in terms of kilometers, but we stood at the border for over an hour. Burki learned "Hello" and "Thank you" in Croatian, which always pleases people. Today we are staying at a campsite in Orasac, 12km from Dubrovnik. Tomorrow morning at 6:00, I want to take the public bus and calmly explore the old town. Burki will stay at the campsite. It's too much stress for him.
