Grado - Master

Checked out of the campsite this morning. Then got on the bike, the goal was to get as close as possible to Pepe's arrival point. The weather was great, sunny and always around 25°C. I applied a double layer of sun protection cream to my bum.
VIVA ITALIA, thank you for the beautiful cycle paths and your enthusiasm for cycling! I think the Sunday without trucks was also conducive to relaxed cycling. The route today was a little longer, but hardly any inclines. I really wanted to see Grado and it was a little way from Pepe's arrival point near Venice.

It was a really beautiful route, one third national roads mainly as avenues, one third barely used tarmac roads and the rest cycle paths or similar. Only once was a lifting bridge at a lock broken, so we had to unload the bikes, carry everything upside down through the narrow lock gate and load them up again on the other side.
I arrived in Meste, it's only a few kilometers to the Flixbus station.

Up to this point, it was a little more than 850 kilometers by bike and about 8500 meters of altitude.

Starting tomorrow morning, we'll continue as a pair.
