19th Day - day 19 (for English scroll down)

After a well-rested night, our first stop in Sin City was a laundromat ;-) this time with Zoë in tow - because she also needs to learn. They're not that bad and with free internet access, time goes by quickly. After that, we went to the Fashion Show Mall where a fashion show is held every hour. At every full hour, a certain area is cordoned off. Inside, a runway suddenly rises from the floor to about 1.5 meters high with a huge entrance area. Massive screens come down from the ceiling and voila - a professional runway. Unbelievable! After the show, the entire setup disappears in 3 minutes and people continue shopping! After a quick snack, we continued to the Venetian - where we stared in disbelief at the Rialto Bridge, St. Mark's Tower, and the gondolas in the water. They were really well done! Back at the hotel, we had to play some games. Jackie asked us to bet on red at the roulette table and then follow a whole series of instructions on what to bet on. So I sat down and Zoë snuck up behind me. That lasted for exactly 2 seconds before she was kicked out. She wanted to watch from the designated area, but since she's not 21, she had to keep moving and couldn't stand still! She was really sad. But she didn't have to wait long. On my first round, black came up and I was out... what a shame. After a quick walk on the strip, we went to see the Cirque de Soleil O Show. We had really good seats and our jaws dropped for a good 2 hours... I've never seen such an amazing show in my life. I have no words for it - just: if you ever have the chance, go see it!
