Sand dunes and sunrise

Yesterday (05.02.18) we took the bus from Dalat to Mui Ne. It was another adventurous ride. 4 hours with a crazy bus driver through the mountain road. Sometimes the road simply ended and we drove over rocks. Sometimes I thought the bus would tip over, but we arrived safely. We arrived at the hostel around 6:00 pm. It is very big and has a pool, you can already tolerate it here :D

This morning we woke up at 3:30 am and took a tour to the sand dunes. First, we took the bus to the white desert. It was still dark and we climbed the dunes until we had a beautiful view. It was quite cold. Then we waited for the sun to rise. It took a while and then it suddenly appeared. A big round red ball on the horizon. It was beautiful and totally relaxing. Then we went to the red desert. The sand there was red and we had a beautiful view of the sea. The sun was shining on the sea and it was sparkling :)Next, we went to the fishing village. The sea is filled with small boats and Vietnamese people are sitting on the beach sorting the freshly caught seafood. It's all lying around. Crabs, fish, eels, etc. A bit shocking how they handle it. Finally, we went to the Fairy Stream. It is a very deep river between rock cliffs and you can wade through it. There is sand and mud below you. It was fun and really interesting. It was a nice tour. Now I'm lying by the pool and Tim is in the room. Let's see what the day brings :)

Tomorrow we will take the bus to Saigon one last time.
