Goodbye Melbourne (for now)

Since the beginning of May, not much has happened, so there are mainly everyday pictures from home. It was cold and we cuddled a lot at home with the dogs. For our one-year travel anniversary, we had a great meal at a restaurant where Mathias was doing a trial shift at the beginning. So we had a delicious modern Chinese tasting menu.

In early May, Mathias decided to quit his job as a cafe cook earlier because the job conditions were getting worse and he had hardly any influence on the menu, which was not discussed. While it is about earning money here, but not only that, our well-being is always our top priority. So we decided to leave Melbourne earlier than planned. Lea wanted to continue working until then, but unfortunately had to say goodbye to her employer in a very unpleasant way two weeks before departure because she hadn't been included in the schedule without being informed. In summary, we have lost some money and both had some unpleasant experiences in the job world, but now we are ready to leave.

In May, we also bought our vehicle for the next few months. Our beloved 'Ponyo', a Ford Escape, will be our companion through Australia. And we have also equipped ourselves for our road trip and we are ready.

- at least almost. On Wednesday we got tickets for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child!!

For our blog, this means that there will be more to report in the future, but we will also leave the reliable Wi-Fi behind. However, we will try to tell you about our experiences as often as possible.
