Day 3/29 - Cape Town

പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചു: 18.01.2024

Since Anni has had a fever since yesterday evening, we spent most of the time in our “vacation home” today. We set off again in the afternoon so that the children could sleep a bit in the car.
We set ourselves the destination of Chapman's Peak Drive and were able to enjoy a wonderful view. The road stretches from Hout Bay to Nordhoek and offers breathtaking views of the sea and the surrounding mountains, the city and beautiful sandy beaches with turquoise water 🤩
We then went to the restaurant where we were on the first evening for an early dinner and ate such delicious things...😋Springbok carpaccio, prawn tartare, prawns in garlic curry, Asian ribs and a bit of sushi 🤩 It was super tasty and at €35 including 5 drinks also cheap 😊
Wind gusts of 34 km/h made it very difficult for us to get in and out of the beach. On the way from the car to the restaurant and back again, we had to wrap the children in towels because the sand was blown through the air so much that it really hurt their skin. Even while we were eating, the sand was falling like snow from the ceiling 😂
