The holy springs of Gastein

The celestial water, nourished by cosmic light, gathers in the wetlands in the area of Sportgastein and flows into the Gasteiner Ache, which humidifies the air through a wild waterfall with three stages.

This celestial water joins forces at the foot of the waterfall with the light water from Mother Earth, the hot thermal water that springs up from (almost) countless sources. This is called the heavenly wedding.

That was the case until humans closed off the second half of the waterfall to divert the water through pipes. For power generation and for the thermal baths.

Back then, this lifeline pulsed like a heart with the waters of the two waterfalls, separated by a rock.

A heart that pumped life force into the European continent.
