Finally sun again
Actually... as soon as we landed in Wellington, the sun shone at us. So we immediately set off to explore the city. We wanted to spend as little time as possible in our hostel, as our room, the kitchen, and the common room had no windows!
The city has a cozy character with many art sculptures, some street art, and a harbor with bars and a diving tower. We also visited the Te Papa Tongarewa Museum, where we learned a lot about the culture, history, and events of New Zealand.
From Wellington, we started our Kiwi Experience. This is a hop-on-hop-off bus system that travels all around New Zealand. I won a bus pass for the North Island during my English course in Australia. Of course, I have to use it. :)
The first stop will be Taupo...
