Farewell to the Comfort Zone

Hello :)

First of all, I'm happy that you found your way to my blog, even though I can't present an exciting story from the world just yet :)

Most of the things are ready, most friends and relatives have been bid farewell, and the excitement is rising immeasurably!

For 2 years now, I have been waiting for the day when I will embark on the journey to freedom and perhaps the most exciting year of my life! Now, so close to it, the thought of leaving the comfort zone and venturing into the unknown is no longer as easygoing as it was a few weeks ago :D I could never understand why some people found it so admirable that I dropped everything to travel the world. Well, I have to admit, I'm not as cool as I pretended to be anymore :D

I will probably spend most of the last 3 days going through the packing list at least 20 times and trying to suppress the excitement a little in order to get a few hours of sleep :P

I firmly intend to write regular blog posts and let you participate in my journey a little bit :)

Since I'm not taking a laptop or tablet with me, I will only write the posts with my phone and a Bluetooth keyboard (I have the idea that it will be easier this way... I'm curious if it's really a relief or if I'm carrying that thing around for no reason :P)

Next time, I will report from Indonesia (oh man, that sounds sooo cool, I'm really flying there :D)
