Famous Baby - Hashtag Hollywood

It was November 22nd! A particularly great day. So where do I start? Firstly, my roommate himself is quite new to Los Angeles, he moved into the house two weeks before I arrived. Still a total stranger. He asked me if I wanted to go on a little tour of the hotspots in LA with him. I brought Carina along, so that settled it. Wuuuhuuu, I couldn't wait. I was so excited. Ready, set, go. Ryan, that's what my roommate or landlord is called, by the way, drove towards downtown. We had hungry mouths on board *laugh*. Ryan had apparently received a great insider tip from an acquaintance, it must be the ultimate hit. So, okay...

Eggslut, that's what this awesome place was supposed to be. It looked really delicious. However, I had already had breakfast and to be honest, it wasn't worth standing in line for nearly 30 minutes for eggs. Yes, you heard right! The line just kept going. In the picture, you can see it well: The two ladies in shorts marked the end of the line, and I was standing at the food counter taking pictures. Unfortunately, I missed taking pictures of the food, it was actually a bagel with scrambled eggs and other desired layers on top.

I also found the sign funny.

Breakfast was done for Ryan and Carina, then we finally drove towards Hollywood.

The famous film school in Hollywood.

Here we are - yippee. One of my biggest dreams is coming true.

Walk of Fame.

Best :-)
I just had to capture this.. never seen anything like it before *laugh*
Yeah, they also want some snow in Hollywood, I get it :-P

What I personally didn't know is that the Walk of Fame is not just for actors. Singers, celebrities from the theater, and TV shows are also honored with a star here.

My very own star. :-)

This fun cost me a whole 20 dollars with these 3 people, but you can invest that for such cool pictures.

The palace of Scientology is also located here in Hollywood :-/

Can you see it very small... that's where we're going now.

We had to find a suitable spot first to see this sign up close. But after searching for a while, we were able to take really great snapshots. See for yourself.

That's not close enough yet.

yay, made it! Absolutely fantastic. I really had to enjoy that moment.

We ended the day at the beach, then drove to the nearby Santa Monica Beach. Another absolute highlight. The way there had some surprises in store for me.

Falling in love with these amazing palm trees.
Finally there.
Allow me to introduce the Santa Monica Pier.
World famous and I'm here... hard to believe!

It was very hot that day, so it was a little easier to go swimming.

Incredible sight... look at this!

We had a little something to eat on the beach and also treated ourselves to some alcohol *laugh*. All in all, it was a very, very great day.
As if that wasn't enough, I also went to a Friendsgiving. It was the day before Thanksgiving after all. I didn't want to miss it, Carina went home earlier. I then tried all these delicious treats. The idea of Friendsgiving is to invite many friends and everyone brings a little something. Ryan called it Thanksgiving for the poor. I was really tired, but it was still a very fun evening. Getting to know all the different nationalities. I think almost the whole world was represented *laugh*
We had Spain, Thailand, China, Germany, USA, and Mexico there. Okay, maybe saying the whole world was there is an exaggeration. It was still really interesting to talk to all the people and hear all these different accents.
Apple pie and stuffing are now on my expanded menu :-)

When we got home around 10 p.m., I was so tired. I collected so many impressions today, you have to process that first. Sleep well, my friends. I'm going to bed too :-)
