Day 3: Kremlin and cruise on the Moskva River

പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചു: 26.07.2019

Today the travel agency organized a city tour for us. We were picked up at 9:30 am by the guide who speaks perfect German. He is well-informed about the history of the country and very relaxed. So, we took a smoke break in front of the hotel and then started walking slowly :)

After a leisurely walk to Red Square, he told us a lot of things. After the changing of the guards at 11 am (where the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is guarded), we went to the Kremlin.

I was particularly surprised by Cathedral Square. There are several beautiful cathedrals here.

By 1 pm, we were done with the tour and after having Plombir, which only costs 100 rubles on every corner here, we went to Cosmonauts Alley.
Here there is the Cosmonaut Museum, but we didn't have time to visit it.

After that, the only thing left on our list for today was a boat trip on the Moskva River. Shortly after boarding, it started raining heavily, and even though the roof didn't help at all, it was somehow quite nice :)

After a long search for a suitable restaurant, we ended up at the Moldovan Embassy in an associated restaurant. After that, it was time to go to bed. We have to wake up at 6 am tomorrow.
