French bakery

So after the italian cafe I was walking to the other side of the town. Still in Samara. Looking for a Soda. In Costa Rica Sodas are like small Restaurants with cheap meals. Cheap breakfast and so on. You find them everywhere. On the way I saw the big letters of joy saying BOULANGERIE. A french bakery, the Masters of Croissants.

-Hi, I'll have a croissant.

-1 Mile. (1000 Colones)

-Thank you very much and goodbye!

I walked towards my dormitory. Excited for the pleasure. And that's when it struck me to write about Croissants.

Tasting the croissant and judging it was fun.

The crust was good and it was fluffy enough to please. However, it was not buttery enough. In fact, there was a slight taste of baking powder. Big negative.

Texture is great but the taste was off. Sadly, maybe my expectations were too high.

But I still enjoy all of them.

So, being in Punta Morales for most of the week, which is kind of a remote place, building this big ship, I kind of forgot about these sweet delights.

We'll see where my journey for another pastry delight takes me.

Another story. I guess I don't have to mention that the Croissants on the Champs Elyseé are very good. A little suggestion.

See you
