I haven't slept as well as last night on the entire trip, all windows down, no curtains, just fresh air and shade. After freshening up and packing my things, I could pick my own breakfast. The climbing was worth it. Even though about 60% of them contained a small protein addition, they tasted amazing.
Then I headed towards Saxon Switzerland. There I went to the Bastei, which is probably the most famous place in Saxon Switzerland. It was also quite busy there, but not overcrowded yet.
In the afternoon, I visited the Miniature Park of Saxon Switzerland, which was created from a hobby and almost every distinctive rock formation and building was recreated here. Unfortunately, some things were a bit older and not quite up to today's technological standards. But considering that it is a small family-run project, it is remarkable what has been built there. Finally, there was a small tour with a miniature steam locomotive in a 1:4 scale.
After that, I headed towards Altenberg on the border. I also went over there briefly, but only to take advantage of the prices, diesel for 1.32€, what more could you want. What a coincidence that my tank was almost empty ;)
On the way, I noticed a visitor mine just before the border. So I stopped there and spent the night in the parking lot.
