Saturday, September 14, 2019 - Salvador de Bahia - Rio de Janeiro - Foz de Iguazu

There isn't much to say about today.

We flew as usual with Uber to the airport and then with GOL from Salvador via Rio de Janeiro to Foz de Iguazu.

After arriving in Foz de Iguazu, we finally got an Uber after a bit of waiting and went to our hotel (Del Ray). We once again provided all our information and were then able to check into our room on the top floor.

Well... the room... what can we say... overall, the room wasn't bad and had everything we needed... except maybe a window to the outside, but we had one that led directly into the courtyard. Our room could only be reached via a kind of bridge.

After the exotic and playful room in the Pousada des Arts in Salvador, we had developed slightly different expectations for our sleeping accommodations.

However, it was really cool that the recreation room, equipped with a pool table and foosball table, as well as the rooftop pool, were just a few steps away from our room.

To get some provisions for tomorrow's excursion, we quickly went to the nearby huge supermarket before we fell exhausted into bed after the journey.
