Waipawa Logbook, Day 7

This morning when I woke up, I saw another penguin right by the boat - sooo cute. There were also a bunch of jellyfish hanging around the boat. After breakfast, we took the dinghy along the coast and explored the caves there.

Then we went out to the hole in the rock - it's a completely different feeling and much higher waves when you head towards the open sea. On the way back, we anchored at a beautiful sandy beach, where we took our first swim - very refreshing. Later, we also jumped from the roof of the boat into the water. We spent the afternoon in the sun and had a lazy Sunday. Pete caught a fish again today - they haven't been biting much in the last few days.

Unfortunately, still no dolphins spotted, but I still have 3 weeks left 😊 On the other hand, I've already seen penguins, although they are less common than dolphins.
