Hello there

I just read in the Swiss newspaper that the bathing season officially started yesterday...yayyy...Good luck with the weather!!!

Here on Lanta, the low season (also known as the green season) officially started on May 1st. That means it's quiet, almost no tourists, cheaper to stay, some shops are closed, the streets are free from frustrated drivers, the Thais are tired from the high season, the sea is rougher, the wind changes and brings a lot of trash, the weather goes from super hot and humid to gigantic rain showers...I'm very curious to see how it will feel in the coming weeks...

The last month involved a lot of paperwork, studying, and fighting. We traveled to Bangkok for 3 days to apply for Canon's visa, so he can come to Switzerland for 3 weeks. Man oh man...it takes so much! Now we wait for about a week for the decision. Let's hope!!!

Canon flew for the first time, wow what an experience! He was a little nervous, but also excited and confident! It's just beautiful to see someone experiencing new things at the age of 40😍😍😍

Bangkok is and remains one of my favorite cities...but 3 days are enough for the hustle, smog, and chaos...and it was hot! No, not hot, but hottttt😎😎😎 It was just running down like being under the shower😃 Of course, we also did some shopping, partied, and met his sister and friends.

Nice to be back home. Now it's time to really start the business...more paperwork, more studying, more fighting...sometimes I think to myself: Dany, why are you doing all this?😁 It's not easy, but doable🤘

Unfortunately, I can't train at the moment, my back is pinching and hurting like hell, but with massages, swimming, and relaxing, it will get back on track and I can fully enjoy my last 2 weeks of Muay Thai! After 9 months of Muay Thai, the first signs of wear and tear are starting to show, hahaha...

Slowly but surely, I don't feel like a tourist here anymore, I'm accepted as a 'long-stayer' and I belong to a huge Thai family, which is infinitely beautiful, despite often not understanding what, why, and how things are going on😃 The Buddhism has always fascinated me, but understanding it and living in an environment where it is practiced is not always easy. Sometimes incomprehensible, sometimes funny, sometimes annoying...but overall very, very beautiful😍😍😍 I just realized that I don't take as many photos as I did at the beginning, it's probably a sign of feeling at home! It's like my Thai friend Sita said 3 years ago: Before you decide to do business in Thailand and live here, you have to do your homework thoroughly! Yes Madame, you are right😁 Sometimes I wish I had millions, good Swiss friends who could support me here, and occasionally a Cervelat😉

Now my dears, I dedicate myself to Thai law and paperwork again, I'm happy if you keep your fingers crossed for me and wish you a nice weekend, with love

Daniela
