After nearly 7.5 hours of flight, we arrived well, although tired. We didn't sleep much on our overnight flight, but small children with a lot of endurance crying made sure of that :-) With headphones, it got better.
Already when boarding the plane, you notice that Australians are simply friendly people. Everyone was addressed by name, which is written on the boarding pass, and invited in with a nice sentence. This continues at immigration and customs, they are simply nice - it feels good and you feel comfortable right away.
Then by train to Sydney city, to the hotel, freshened up a bit, and then walked to the harbor. Very beautiful architecture here, friendly people, everything is relaxed, lots of green - Sydney is really beautiful. Had the first coffee around the corner - Joe Black Café - very impressive, they can make good coffee, respect. Also here, everyone, from the waiter to the bartender, everyone has a nice word, asks where you come from, where your journey is going, has tips and advice, we can still learn from them...
Arrived at the harbor, boarded a ferry and sailed around the harbor. The Opera House and the Bridge are really beautiful. Then strolled through Darling Harbour, back to the Opera House and then fell into bed very tired at night, walked 13 km and my iPhone says 19,000 steps 😃😃
