Another zoo 😃, but the weather doesn't give us many other chances, we had to skip museums 😉.

On the way north to Townsville, we stumbled upon this zoo, after a short rain shower after getting off, we're already inside. Different things are offered here every 20 minutes, the keepers are really good and tell something about all the animals.

The crocodiles were really boring at first, they just lie there motionless, but they are really impressive animals, a crocodile was lying right by the fence, only 20cm away and looking at you 😳 and thinking if I want, I can bite through the fence...😬

Later the crocodiles were also fed, wow, they have power, they can jump really high and when their mouth closes it makes a really loud noise, like slamming a car door. And they tell really interesting things about the respective animals. That would exceed the scope here, but one thing was funny, the brain of a koala is as big as a peanut 😃😃😃 So you can say they are not particularly bright...

Of course, the kangaroos and wallabies also jump around freely here and let themselves be petted...

We were allowed to pet a wombat, put a snake around our neck, take a crocodile on our arm, ok, it was small and had its mouth full or tied up...😂

And, Anna's highlight, taking a koala on her arm.

We were also allowed to feed water turtles, they also made a race with the turtles, our turtle lived up to its name and mercilessly lost, the other turtle, on the other hand, raced into the water.

So the park was really worth it and very beautiful
