A little habit, a lot of new things

After the first day of Fezitty went so smoothly, we slept a little longer on the second day before we set off. Once there, I helped out in the reception and job center after the official opening, solving the problems of the children who were not properly registered.

Once again, we didn't have any major problems, so we had time to test the online platform ourselves in the various areas of Fezitty and find any potential issues, as well as annoying little things. In the bank, I got a one-value bill as a souvenir and checked out the displays in the Fezitty supermarket.

At the end of the play city, Flo gave us an exclusive tour of the rooftop terrace and the bunker cellar of the old GDR building where Fezitty takes place, with highlights such as the control center for the entire building and a life-sized talking hat. On the way back up, we also visited the old telephone exchange of the building, which has recently become functional again. We then received a brief introduction to old telephone technology, which is actually more interesting than it sounds.

In order for Max, Basti, and Julian to catch their train, we then went to the main train station and bought ourselves the obligatory currywurst with fries.

After that, I went alone to the Generator Hostel in Prenzlauer Berg and took up my bed in the dormitory. There I met a group of young travelers from England, with whom I had a nice conversation.

Finally, I took a longer walk to the nearest fee-free ATM to replenish my cash supply. Unfortunately, I had to realize that my debit card, which has been throwing errors when paying for a while now, was also useless here, but luckily I had ordered a credit card shortly before the trip, so the ATM eventually dispensed money to me.
