Day 19 - September 17, 2024 Exploring Santa Barbara

Today, we had breakfast at a small bakery near the hotel. It was a Spanish-run bakery with many croissants and breads. We also got a good coffee there. We enjoyed our breakfast calmly outside the door and then drove to the beach.

There, we first parked the car and walked the entire beach on foot. After that, we went to the promenade deck and had fish at the restaurant Moby Dick. It was super delicious, and Kathi liked it very much.

Subsequently, we drove towards the Mission. This is an old fort built by the Spaniards, where they converted the locals to the Catholic faith in 1760.

Afterward, we walked through the beautiful downtown area and saw many lovely houses and shops.
