As the saying goes: If you go on a trip, you have a story to tell. I could almost write a book about today.
I slept well and woke up on time at 7:00 a.m. I packed everything in a leisurely manner and was ready to leave shortly after eight. Komoot guided me well out of the city. And after that, the ride continued wonderfully for many kilometers. There was a recommended route that was tarred and without traffic. A few small hares crossed my path and a few times I saw guinea fowl, both on the ground and in the air.
After more than 12 kilometers, there was a fork in the road. The tarred road went to the right and straight ahead was a dirt road that looked good and was recommended by both Komoot and Google. I chose this one because it was shorter and looked good. Why do problem areas always have to come after a few kilometers? Just when you think you can overcome this small obstacle.
I managed to get over it, but the wheels were already completely stuck together and blocked again. Should I turn back now or take a path that was dry and gave me hope of getting out of here safely? I chose that path, but that was also the wrong decision.
To cut a long story short - this time I couldn't manage without outside help. So I left the bike and the luggage behind and started walking. After about 1.5 kilometers I came to a farm and hoped to find a tractor. The farm was being renovated and there were only 3 craftsmen there, of course without a tractor. But 2 of them, young and strong, promised to help me. So the three of us went back to the bike. They actually made it back to the farm.
After I said goodbye to them both with a generous tip, a delivery man happened to be there and gave me a ride about 15 kilometers in his van.
In addition to the almost 100 kilometers driven, we also had to walk a few kilometers on paths that could more accurately be described as swampy.
After this rescue, the second part of my tour took place to the hotel that I had chosen in advance.
On the way I had another opportunity to clean the bike with a high-pressure cleaner. Later I found a gas station where I bought a Coke and a Mars, which I hadn't had in years. I needed this energy to reach my daily goal.
Today's hotel is very nice and I'm sure I can relax here. My socks and trousers have already been washed and my shoes are drying.
I think I will sleep well and deeply today even without a lullaby.
As the refrain says: This trip, something can counter. In some cases I can write a book about the news.
I slept well and woke up suddenly at 7:00 am. Packed completely quietly and stuck a list for a little while after the o'clock. Komoot liked the city a lot. And then continued wonderfully for many kilometers. I took a recommended route that was asphalted and without traffic. Sometimes I met small, lovely brown things and sometimes I painted them, both on the floor and in the air.
After more than 12 kilometers the path forks. The asphalt road turned right and in front there was a dirt road which looked good and was recommended both by Komoot and Google. This is wonderful because it was very short and took good care of me. Why do problem areas always appear after several kilometers? Then when you think you can overcome this small obstacle.
It was super, but the wheels became completely broken and locked again. Should I walk back now or take a road that is already dry and gives me hope of getting out of here safely and safely? He celebrated the path, but it was also an equitable decision.
To sum up, this time we cannot regulate it without external help. So I left the bike with the luggage and took me on the way. After about 1.5 kilometers I came to a farm and hoped to find a tractor. The farm is currently being renovated and only 3 people live there, without a tractor. But two of them, young and strong, promise help. Then we turn three times on the bike. Effectively, they returned to the farm.
After leaving the area with a generous helping of, I suddenly came across a barrier that took me 15 kilometers in his truck.
In addition to the approximately 100 km of trails, there are also quite a few kilometers to walk on trails that can be calibrated with pants.
The time of this rescue, the second part of my route took me to the hotel I had chosen yesterday.
On the way there is the opportunity to clean the motorcycle with a high pressure cleaner. After finding a gas station where you bought a Coca-Cola and a Mars, which was years ago, that wasn't possible. I need this energy to complete my daily task.
The hotel today is very nice and you can definitely relax here. The socks and pants are already washed and the shoes are drying.
I think I slept well and deeply today, including without a baby song.
