Christchurch final stop

Our last 'big' trip is coming up. We took a lunch break in Ashburton, at the Botanical Gardens, actually just because I wanted shade as it was over 25 degrees. There was a cute toddler pool there, right next to the playground, so we cooled off our legs and then did a bit of sliding - perfect for E.

With a sleeping mouse we made our way the last few kilometers to Christchurch. We'll be happy if we hand over the camper in one piece on Saturday morning :D I imagine that we drive to the farm and it falls apart into all its pieces haha (it's not that bad).

In Christchurch we went to the largest playground on the South Island. There was one last ice cold for us and we walked to the Riverside Market, Christchurch isn't that bad, there was all sorts of food there, but we were so full. At the playground there were lots of swings and water games for kids - really cool. Benny also tried out a lot :D

We refueled and filled up our gas bottle and then we went to the campsite and were happy about the showers and there was a bath for E, 31 degrees today, wow. But luckily it was really windy too.
