Day 10 - the fastest way to Oslo

പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചു: 10.07.2017

The weather on Sunday was mostly okay, although there was continuous rain from 9:00 to 11:00 in the morning. After that, it stayed dry with occasional sunshine. According to the weather forecast, there would have been more rain on the coast.

I continued to follow the E6 road (and briefly the road 3) towards Oslo. The route was relatively uninteresting, with long straight stretches through the countryside. Today, I covered approximately 750km.

By around 21:00, I reached Oslo. There is a campsite on a hill from which you can see the whole city. However, I was ripped off at the campsite. According to their website, a spot for a motorcycle + tent costs 200NOK (about 22 Euros), which would have been fair. However, I was charged 330NOK for a spot for a car + tent, which is almost 40 Euros! When I asked about it, I was told that it didn't matter whether it was a car or a motorcycle... Let's see if I can still achieve something with a complaint email or similar.

Since the weather is expected to be very rainy for the next few days, I will head south towards Hirtshals, Denmark, on Tuesday at 06:45. From there, it's about 1300km to Amaliendorf, so I should be back home on either Wednesday or Thursday.

The route in the picture is what I drove in the last two days. I spent the night on Saturday at Sunday about 200km before Trondheim.

Today's expenses:

€60 for gasoline

€15 for food

€40 for the campsite

PS: I'm currently too lazy to evaluate the photos from the GoPro, so there are only a few photos from my phone in the blog. The remaining photos/videos can be viewed at home.
