Kein Strom = kein Internet = kein Wasser

It's great in the mountains. Ella is a tourist attraction. But because everyone turns on their air conditioners and fans and I don't know what else all at once, the power goes out regularly in the evenings. Then there's also no water to shower, because the water can't be pumped up here anymore, says Heinz. I'm standing in the shower and nothing happens. As if it's a given that there's no electricity, it's the same with us too? 😞

Then the power generator is started. Ah, electricity, I think. I'm all sweaty from hiking and immediately try my luck again. Strip everything off and get in the shower. And? No water! Of course, says Heinz. If there's still no power in the village, then there's no water either. 😐

I have to go to bed stinking. 😷

Today I took the Adams Peak. Went all the way up, couldn't help myself (my knee joint is messed up). But I did it and so did my knee. 🤗

Tomorrow we'll continue and finally take the beautiful mountain route with the train straight through to Colombo and then somewhere by the sea. Heinz has booked a nice accommodation through Booking.com. And then off to the Maldives 💕👙
