Tag 83 - Costa Rica

In the public buses, people constantly get on and sell drinks, homemade cookies, or complete meals. The driver gets a little bag for free. In return, they can ride a little bit and offer their stuff. Sometimes, someone also stands in the middle of the bus and loudly recites a text. It is always about collecting money for a religious purpose in the name of the Lord. Once, a young man with a cowboy hat and boots did that and even sang. He sold his self-burned CDs, the proceeds of which he wants to use to finance a social project. That's what he says at least. Today, someone offered a few headache pills in return for a donation. And as a special promotion gimmick, there was even a saintly picture on top of it.

My very first impression of Costa Rica is: quieter, cleaner, less ruined. Speaking of ruined: my eyes are closing. Lo siento...
