Since Liz's dad came to visit and flew to Saigon, we went to the city again. I spent the time drawing, getting creative tattoo input from Dmitry, a Russian tattoo artist, and got my first stick 'n' poke tattoo at his studio :) A little balloon that symbolizes for me that with air (energy) and without obstacles you can always rise higher and be free.
Back in Cai Be, we took a boat trip on the Mekong to the flooding market and to an island where many fruits are grown.Happy reunion after half a year At the top of the wooden poles you can see what goods are sold on the boat (here potatoes or turnips) I am trying out a traditional instrument. After Liz and Thomas headed towards the coast, I stayed in Cai Be for another week before heading back... to where else......to Saigon :-DThere I spent a lot of time in tattoo studios and tried the machine for the first time.My design: two chamomile flowers The two hands were given to me by Hoan, a tattoo student from SaigonIn addition, I extended my back tattooAfter-work beer with Tony and AngSaigon: Salad made from mango, chopped rice paper, peanuts, chili, and herbs.
