Wine and cheese by the campfire
Yes, we are still alive and doing very well here. Since we found a job for Saturdays, we have time to travel during the week. The job is a lot of fun and finances us for the whole week. Since we only made it to Busselton last week, we wanted to go a little further south. It's insane to drive along the seemingly endless highways. We first set our sights on Margaret River, as we have heard everywhere how beautiful it is there and how amazing the wine tastes because of the many vineyards. After a 3.5-hour drive, we finally arrived in Margaret River and our next goal was to taste the wine and explore the town. The town is very pretty and reminds us of a small country town. After successfully finding a campsite, we had to go to the coast and discovered some very beautiful spots. One of them is Redgate Beach, just 5 km from our campsite, and the other is Hamelin Bay, a beach where you can even see dolphins on some days. Unfortunately, we were not lucky enough to see dolphins :-/. Instead, we saw many kangaroos and simply enjoyed the time and tranquility. We are also starting to notice that it is getting colder day by day and we can pack away our summer clothes for now. Temperatures of 11 or 12 degrees are currently normal. The end of the week is approaching and we are driving back up to Scarborough and looking forward to work.
