Downtown Minneapolis//US Bank Stadium

It was early morning again because we wanted to take the express bus to downtown. It cost $3.25 instead of the expected $2.50. But the machine was picky, so Benedikt paid $3.50 and Lukas paid $2.50. I don't know if math is different here, but that's not $6.50. Anyway, we made it. We visited a dinner at the Foshaytower and had brilliant French toast (poor knight) and scrambled eggs with ham and hash browns. We visited the Target Center, the home of the Timberwolves, and one of us bought two jerseys.

[after trying them all on at least twice and taking a photo in each one]

And now comes the highlight of the day: the US Bank Stadium

We met Dan (Benedikt's cousin) there, who had organized a tour of the stadium. The US Bank Stadium, the home of the Vikings, makes even the largest soccer arenas look small! With its monstrous glass facade and huge hydraulic doors. It can hold up to 70,000 spectators and has some special roof that heats itself to make the snow slide off. It's currently the largest of its kind in the world.

After that, we visited a local brewery, where we realized upon arrival that no one wanted to drink a beer. But the burgers were very good.

On the way home, we had to transfer at the Mall of America, and we were looking for a vending machine. When we found two, we were disappointed to find that there was no water, so we had to drink sugary stuff.
