Week 5, week 6, and week 7 - check :)

Hello my dear readers!
Today I noticed that since my trip to the Cliffs of Moher I haven't written a blog post, which is simply because nothing overly exciting has happened lately. In the past 3 weeks, my courses have become quite challenging; I have discovered the library and spent a lot of time there - after all, I want to come home with good grades ;) Something I think I haven't mentioned so far is that this semester abroad is a mandatory part of my master's program. I'm here 'not voluntarily,' I had to go abroad. Of course, I'm here voluntarily, but I think you understand what I mean. That's why the grades are also important, or rather, that I pass my courses here positively. Otherwise, I would have to come back next year in August and repeat the exams. As much as I would love to come back to Cork, I would like to avoid that, so there is unfortunately a lot of studying to do alongside the great trips and experiences.

However, there is still plenty of time to explore the area, have a beer or two, and above all: eat well :D

Now I'll just show you some pictures I took in the past 3 weeks:

A gray, foggy Saturday morning on campus

My beloved UCC. I am proud and happy to be part of it.

Cork City. Colorful, beautiful, different :)

And something else: I would like to know who came up with the idea to spread everywhere that it rains constantly and every day in Ireland. Absolute nonsense, I can only say about that :D in the past 2 weeks, it rained only one day. Since then, not at all, and the weather forecast for this week only predicts rain for tomorrow, otherwise sun and clouds. This weather also has a special advantage: I see beautiful sunrises almost every day and even more beautiful sunsets.

I wish you a beautiful Sunday and a great new week.

Much love from Cork
