It started in a good mood in the morning, and what a miracle, suddenly the pilgrimage route is full, you meet other pilgrims again and again, have great conversations and exchange experiences.

From 2015 I already knew that today you pass by a true oasis for pilgrims... I was really looking forward to it, a true gem of nature in this dry landscape, with many colorful flowers. For the pilgrims, a man who is always there provides fruit and other great things in exchange for donation... he himself says money is not so important...

This beautiful place has developed a lot in the three years and has become even more beautiful, the small trees have grown, hammocks everywhere to rest and mats to lie down, very inviting to linger!

Refreshed, we continued towards Astorga, the city appeared on the horizon and yet the path still stretched... unfortunately also causing a lot of pain to my shin, but I'm working on it...

Today we stayed in the same hostel as back then, it has also developed nicely... in 2015 I had to leave the room with the mattress in the middle of the night because someone snored so loudly... I hope it goes better this time...

At the moment, changing the Camino was also the right decision!!

However, what I noticed a lot and somehow bothers me, is how some people deal with their trash... you can always see cans, plastic and other garbage lying around on the pilgrimage paths.

Tomorrow we will go to the Cruz de Ferro... let's see if the two stones I left there are still there...

Na siehste Charlie es geht doch. Wenn man nette Leute kennen lernt dann geht es sich viel besser. LG Sylvia
