Kak dela? (how are you?)

After another 2700 driven kilometers and a small problem at the boarder of Latvia we now arrived in Kazakhstan. (Just for information: car passport = green card = car license = zulassungsschein )

It was a really exciting experience to pass such a big country without understanding more than 4 words of the language. A big thanks goes to our Russian guide and friend, who helped us driving safely through Russia. Our route started at Sebezh town, where we picked up Ilya, followed by the cities Moscow, Colomna, Rjasan, Samara, and finally Orenburg. But those 4 words dóbryj djen (good day), kak dela (how are you), ßpaßíba (thank you), and paka (good bye) were enough to bring a smile to people's faces. Maybe because of our pronunciation, only the try to speak Russian, or our confused minds when they recognized that we didn't understand anything except these 4 words. But no matter why it worked, even while having stop and search controls of policemen (7 times).

The incredible landscape between the big cities of Russia was covered by friendly people and mainroads in surprisingly good conditions.
