Dalsøyna - Dales Private Island

പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചു: 12.10.2019

This morning it was pouring rain, which created interesting cloud formations in the afternoon.

Together with Ole Bjarne, we went on a little trip. First, we did some fishing and I caught a mackerel. Then we put out the crab traps and filled them with the leftovers from the mackerel.

After that, we hiked on the island of Dalsøyna, which is located just off Dale (for more detailed information, you can check the map). Several families have their weekend cottages there, and in the past, several families also lived permanently on the island, so there used to be a school there until about 70 years ago. Here is the 'old' school building, which has since been bought and renovated (and was under video surveillance).

But there are also other buildings on the island...

some in better condition, some in worse:

And of course, there is also a small private coastal forest:

And here is the luxurious version of the little private coastal forest:

But of course, there is also beautiful nature there. I especially liked this old tree:

And on the way back to the boat, we had these views:

probably a former sheep that had had too much to drink :)

And here, autumn has slowly arrived... here are pictures from different places and perspectives:

This is still the island, behind it you can see Heileberget

The old harbor of Dale...

...with interesting clouds

After the little excursion, I went to the cinema, to the backstage area. From now on, I will help out there, starting the movies, etc. This is what my future workplace looks like:

On October 10th, it was Mental Health Day, which aimed to raise awareness about mental health and how to reduce stress. For this purpose, we set up this board in the community center, and while the adults were painting, we took care of the children and they could relax. I then finished the work:
