My first 'real' day in my new family!

Getting up early :O by 7 o'clock at the latest my host brothers are awake. After breakfast together, Victoria, the housekeeper of my family, came. She is a really very very nice person.

Noleen and she will teach me one of the African languages. So far I can only say 'Hello', but I am confident that I can learn more in the 6 months!

After I didn't have internet or a SIM card when I arrived, we set up WhatsApp on a tablet so that I can have real contact with my family for the first time since I left.

After all of that was done, we went to the beach and enjoyed the sun. The beach is not huge but beautiful. If you go away from the sea a bit, you can follow a river into the city, the bank is made of sand. I was very excited! The perfect location for beautiful pictures!!

After our visit to the beach, the boys were picked up by their grandpa for dinner. Noleen and I then headed to a huge shopping mall to do some shopping. We also got a SIM card there.

It's difficult to estimate the prices here, as most of them are in the double digits and I have to convert everything to know if it's expensive or not :D

The food here is not completely different, but you still have to get used to it.

We went to bed very early this day, because the next day (my birthday) was going to start for us at 7:30 am and it was going to be a really long and exciting day!
