Skagen is probably on the list of everyone who travels to Denmark or is passing through to Norway and has a day to spare. Unfortunately, the country's northernmost tip where the North Sea and Baltic Sea meet is just as crowded and touristy. The dunes in Grenen are full of cars, and parking attendants probably won't even let you into the parking lot unless you drive, like us, 5 times around in circles until they get tired of you. Once you find a parking space, you can only pay for a parking ticket with a credit card and you'll find yourself in front of a loudly playing beach bar and souvenir shops. From there, it takes about 15 minutes of walking through the dunes and along the beach to reach the point where the North Sea meets the Baltic Sea.
