Last Exit Palermo

After three wonderfully sunny and calm days amid the Agricampo in Punta Secca, we slowly drive towards Palermo. We are staying for one more night in Porto Empedocle, which is unfortunately very windy this time, and then we will drive across the country towards Palermo. We are looking for a spot on the coast before spending another day in Palermo.

In the port of San Nicola, we spend a stormy and very loud night. The wind and waves have adorned the camper van with seaweed on the windy side...

In Palermo, we book at Idea Vacanze again and immediately get a delicious pizza. The next day, we walk to the old town, as we have the whole day until the ferry.

An hour's walk to the old town - let's do it. Everything is going well, we take a break at Mercato Vucciaria and then it starts to rain. According to the weather forecast, only short showers, but they turn into a constant rain. By the time we get back to the camper van, we are all completely soaked. Thank goodness we have a heater! It's a shame, the old town is really great. We'll have to postpone our visit.

Tonight we will take the ferry and tomorrow evening we will be back in Genoa.
