Expedition report Germany 2.0

Allgäu/ Bavaria - Saalburg / Thuringia

After the originally planned route with our LT "Ronny" to the Italian islands and Greece fell through, I thought about starting a tour around Germany with Mahin and our newly repaired bus.

Starting in northern Switzerland, passing by Lake Constance, shortly after Austria to Allgäu to visit two dear travel companions from Laotian times in 2013.

I was able to spend a week in this breathtaking landscape, hiking, marveling, breathing fresh mountain air, and staying overnight in the bus with a view of the German Alps and Neuschwanstein Castle.

After this very relaxing week, I then comfortably and quickly drove out of the state of Bavaria to spend a night in Saalburg at the reservoir.

The next leg of our journey takes us to Berlin and from there, along the Elbe, to the Netherlands.
