A popular day trip from Bogota is the salt cathedral in an old salt mine. Of course, I didn't want to miss this and Iva from Taiwan and I went there together. After 2 hours, we finally reached our destination and were surprised. Although we knew that people here are very religious, we underestimated the religious significance of this place. Passing hundreds of stone crosses, we went deeper into the mountain. In the end, we were greeted by the rather disappointing cathedral. We only saw some salt veins here and there, and overall, the trip was only moderately exciting. But see the pictures for yourself.
