Distance 100 kilometers, cumulative 2,973 kilometers | Elevation 470, cumulative 24,300

Since I didn't have to climb any great heights today and also took it easy, my starting photo was only taken after 8 a.m. Even though we don't have snow here, unlike Switzerland, it was very cold at just 3°. So I put on rain pants as well as a few layers of clothes. And despite the sunshine, I didn't have to complain about the heat. On the contrary, with my cold fingers I couldn't even open my front pocket. My long-fingered gloves didn't help either; I even switched to short ones and found that they kept me warmer.

After leaving León behind me, I was particularly struck by how flat the terrain was. I almost felt like I was in Holland.

Today, the number of pilgrims has not decreased. From here, more than 400 of them still have to walk to Santiago. That means walking an average of 25 kilometers a day for 16 days.

I noticed one disabled man in particular who was travelling at a maximum of a third of the speed of the others. What drives him to do this?

Today I also drove many kilometers on the N-120. There was hardly any traffic because the motorway ran parallel to it. The main road is often used by farmers with tractors and trailers and by local suppliers. Sometimes even the pilgrims have to use it, even if only for short stretches.

There were no special highlights on today's route of exactly 100 kilometers. There are some interesting sights right at the destination. It would even be possible to get a bike repaired here. Unfortunately it was closed at the time.

Something else about energy management: yesterday I had already lost the first two strokes after less than 40 kilometers, but today I managed to get to the finish line with them. Unfortunately, Burgos is still too far away for me to have managed it myself. I am satisfied with my performance.

Like today, on one side, I don't think I'll drop too much and on the other, I'll take the picture with a little calm, my leaving photo didn't take place until after 8 o'clock on the morning. Although there is no snow here, unlike Switzerland, it is very cold, with only 3 degrees. Then, in addition to some clothing covers, I also wear waterproof pants. And if the sun weighs you, you won't get any heat. Conversely, with my wet fingers I probably could open the front pocket. I helped my long-fingered gloves by changing them to shorts and discovering that they were more exposed.

After leaving Leon, he particularly noted that the land was here. Sometimes I feel like studying in Holland.

Even today the pilgrims' march has not been stopped. From here you still have to walk more than 400 meters to Santiago. In the meantime, it means walking 25 kilometers a day in about 16 days.

Today he also travels many kilometers on the N-120. In case there was no traffic because the road parallel to it spoke. The main road here is used primarily by farmers with tractors, trailers and local growers. Sometimes pilgrims, including those who travel by sea, have to return to him even if the distance is short.

On the current route of exactly 100 kilometers there were no special moments. There are some interesting places right in your destination. Here it would also be possible to repair a bike. Lamentably, it's actually been blocked off.

Something more about energy management: while the two first lines were separated by less than 40 kilometres, today they are in the meta. Fortunately, Burgos is still a deserted place to do it myself. I am satisfied with my expectations.
