My journey to Southeast Asia begins with a tour of Germany. This is not only to start off relaxed, but also to visit friends, acquaintances, and family.

First, I was in Czech Republic, Krumlov, for the third time canoeing with fourteen people on the first weekend of July. We paddled along the beautiful Vltava in moderate weather.

After that, I spent two days in Darmstadt with my sister. We watched the Heinerfest closing fireworks and met my good friend Marc.

In the next two days in Cologne, I was hanging out with my Dutch friend William. The very humid weather drove us to Agrippa Baths. Recommendable for any season.

Thanks to my BahnCard 100, I spontaneously considered going to Sylt, but 7.5 hours is just too much. Therefore, I decided on Berlin to avoid Hamburg due to the G20 riots.

Had a Uruguayan meal and enjoyed fine cocktails with my old classmate Martin from Dieburg.
