Auschwitz and Birkenau

Today we had booked a guided tour of the former concentration and extermination camp. We were a bit uneasy. The tour lasted 3.5 hours and started at Auschwitz I, the main camp, and then went to Birkenau. It was highly interesting and made us realize how many fates were sealed here.

Afterwards, we set off towards Lübben to pick up Emil for a day. He was very excited to spend his first night in the motorhome. Around 9 p.m. we found a beautiful spot by the lake and were looking forward to a great day.
