The second morning in Sydney is again beautiful, although a bit chilly...
After breakfast, I decide to take a tour with the hop-on/hop-off buses - that way you get a little overview... Sydney has a lot to offer, different neighborhoods - each one has its charm
A very curious skyscraper...Great fountains spread throughout the city...Converted warehouses - apartments with their own boat dock...The 'botanical' building in SydneyHanging gardens - like the ancient hanging gardens of Semiramis in MesopotamiaSt. Mary's CathedralView of Sydney from the other side of the bay
But at some point, sitting becomes too much and I decide to explore the city on foot...
I wish I was the captainNo, I don't want to stand out... ;-)
And as it should be, at some point you always end up at the wharf with the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge - it's just amazing there...
Always beautiful...The Harbour Bridge seen from the Opera HouseParty at the Opera House..... and me in the midst of gusty winds...
Furthermore, besides the breathtaking view, there are also fantastic restaurants - for example, the Oyster Bar right on the water... I don't eat oysters, but there's a glass of very good Australian Rose-Sparkling wine...
Beautiful light at sunset...but not without a small drink :-) And in the evening, I find a charming little restaurant - with great ambience, delicious food, and good wines... :-)Looking forward to tomorrow - unfortunately my last day in Sydney, but in the evening I'm going to the famous Opera House to see 'Evita'... I'm really excited - about the performance, but also about the interior of the Opera House...A really nice place for dinnerOysters here are a must - good and inexpensiveAnd of course, a good glass of red wine must never be missing...
