Very good food

9.4.2022 - This week was characterized by very good food. We went to the star restaurant Kjolle and had excellent meals. It was a true explosion of flavors, but the dishes were also incredibly varied and pleasing to the eye. And then the ambiance and the service... We had to treat ourselves to this.

A day later, we were invited by a member of the community and his wife, whom we originally planned to visit in the countryside. Because of the strike situation, we met here in Lima. So we were in their 300 sqm beautiful apartment overlooking a golf course and then they invited us to dinner at a restaurant. And yesterday we went out to eat again with two members of the church council and the pastor couple, who will introduce themselves in the church service tomorrow. They flew in yesterday morning and will stay until Monday. In addition to the discussions with the church council, we accompany them wherever possible and can certainly answer many questions that arise during such a visit. It remains exciting. The election will also take place tomorrow.

Today, during my morning walk, I went to a weekly market again - also a feast for the eyes. Here, chicha morada, a delicious refreshing drink, is made from dark corn.
