On Wednesday, we finally had the exam behind us and had more time to go out or socialize again. On Saturday morning, we hiked up the Løvstakken again and completed a few more points on the 'things to do before we leave' list. The whole day was pretty relaxed. Later, we watched the last matchday of the Bundesliga on the couch with a brownie ice cream for Pia and a carrot-orange ice cream for me. The weather got really warm and sunny in the following days. And everything became even greener. Norway is definitely a treat in the summer. So it won't be easy to leave. On Sunday, we spontaneously booked everything for Stavanger that was still on my list mentioned above.
We took it a bit slower on Whit Monday and afterwards, but Thursday was predicted to have great weather, so we wanted to move more again. That's why we decided to go to Ulriken. Unfortunately, the higher we got, the cloudier and windier it became. In the afternoon, it was supposed to clear up, but we just chose the wrong time of day. Every time you climb the mountains now, you wonder if it will be the last time.
The greener it gets, the faster time flies. The view from Ulriken is always impressive. Fun fact: my student assistant contract was also up there because I couldn't find a mailbox after printing and until we reached Ulriken. On the way back, we walked towards Låndasfjellet and the lakes. There were many birds singing in that area, but unfortunately they didn't let me get close enough to find out which species it was. But they all sang beautifully. That's basically what happened in the week before Stavanger.
