Tag 12/29 - Addo Elephant Park

The day started with a delicious breakfast in the cooking school restaurant. Afterwards we went to the Addo Elephant Park.
Big problem today... temperatures around 37 degrees 🥵 but we still wanted to try it since we're only here until Sunday morning. We were in the park for about 2 hours. We couldn't stand it any longer. The car with the broken air conditioning, not a bit of shade and the heat. However, in the short time we saw a lot of elephants and zebras, a species of heron, a few bucks (there are many different species) and our highlight, two families of warthogs 🐗
Afterwards we had a delicious steak in the camp restaurant before we went back to the room, where we were able to cool down and relax a bit thanks to the air conditioning. By the way, Anni has now got a taste for it too 🥩🙈In the evening we went back to the hotel restaurant - again with a 3-course menu. We could get used to that 🤩After a short detour by the campfire, it's time to go to bed.
We have booked a safari in the Addo Elephant Park for tomorrow morning. It shouldn't be that hot there. With a ranger we will definitely see more animals. Anni really hopes for her lions 🦁
