In the morning, Jois, Juan David, Ralf and I drive back to Quito. We make a stop at the Laguna de Quilotoa. A collapsed crater filled with water and a turquoise color due to volcanic minerals. Unfortunately, it started raining again when we arrived there. We take a look at the lagoon and in seconds they see that they can't see anything. A fog covers the water. Fortunately, after a delicious cappuccino, luck is on our side again and we can see and photograph the whole lagoon again.
In the evening, we are invited for dinner at Alberto's and his family. Alberto, our second Ecuadorian child. It was so nice to see them all again. A wonderful evening. We are looking forward to more. 😍
